I will scan the lawsuit after I get a copy. I heard that this case involves at least 9 former employees suing over various problems, non-payment of wages, etc. Who knows with these guys. I wonder why Gil Baca is named in this suit if he doesn't have anything to do with the company? Maybe it had something to do with him writing personal checks to cover payroll or being involved with the daily operations. I wonder if Baca still has that "sheepish grin" on his face from his "interview" yesterday? What was that all about?

What about the good ole' "Chief?" How can he run a security company when he is running a police department? I'm sure this will be interesting.... I wonder if Legit will still qualify as one of Albuquerque's "best places to work?"
The New Mexico Security Crisis...
The owners of Legit Security are despicable and as one comment said "corrupt in every aspect of life." The proof is in the pudding and there is always a lot of pudding o this blog. I have seen others but one is created by Legit and endorses it. Another blog is irrelevant and seems to be written by another person who appears on the NM Security blog regularly.
It scares me that the owners of this company could be trusted with so much including a police department, companies, hundreds of employees pay and benefits and of course the trust of the public. The state need to ONCE AND FOR ALL shut this company (and any new ones they create) and BAN THEM FROM THIS INDUSTRY FOREVER. I am tired of seeing them hurt good people.

Mr Gil Baca and Joe Stedham have owned numerous companies together dating back a number of years. When they sold one and signed a non compete clause they used other peoples names to front a company, even if it was only for one job! Construction jobs, concrete, remodels, security, private eye.......the list is long. Should'nt the IRS check to see if taxes are being paid. U cant deposit a bizness check into a personal account for any reason. Where are the cops when u need em. I have heard that Gil Baca has skipped a few years here and there.(2005)(2003)
They have a criminal history of never paying anyone except the ones that make them money. IE The yes men. The ones that hire and fire for them. There are so many levels and people to the lives of these two indiviuals that if only half was discovered they would both be put in jail for a term of 20-30 years. They have destroyed hundreds of peoples lives, stabbed people that we would consider family in the back to cover there tracks. Someone contact the IRS. They will not regret looking into this matter.
