Legit Security has bad business practices. They have proven to display some of the worst behavior in the Albuquerque New Mexico security market. Legit has been sued for fraud, conspiracy and other causes of action. Legit has failed to pay its employees. Legit has been on the news multiple times for various embarrassing issues. The list goes on...and there are interesting updates on a former Legit employee's website...(CLICK HERE!)
Legit racked up some complaints with NM RLD and the New Mexico Private Investigator's Board. Legit responded in this letter filled with B.S. (CLICK HERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!Download Legit_Response_RLD.pdf)
As usual, legit makes B.S. sound really good and believable. If you didn't know these guy's past or some of the things that they've actually done to their employees, business community, etc.- you might just believe them...
I will point out some things that I noticed in Legit Security's response to RLD complaints. "Chief" Joe Stidham states:
- Mr. Hamic employes Peter St. Cyr- LIE
- Mr. Hamic met with Manny Sierra and tried to entice him to join his company. LIE- Manny Sierra contacted Summit and met in confidence at Summit's offices. He was introduced to a number of employees and he asked for a job. Sierra was paranoid that Legit Security employees had placed a GPS tracking device on his car. Sierra was offered a job, which he accepted verbally. Sierra offered copies of documentation that I refused. Frankly, it didn't matter how much Legit was charging for services- my company charges more because of a higher level of service. Legit's customers were no secret to me. Sierra had a decent reputation and stated that he hated what was going on at Legit and wanted to leave. I recorded the entire conversation... Manny Sierra showed me a copy of Joe Stidham's weekly check from his employment at Legit Security $4,000 per week! I laughed and thought that people must get paid a lot to sell their soul... I think Manny Sierra has done some lying of his own...
- Mike Arbogast does work for Summit but I blacked out some of the B.S. rumors and filth that Legit Security attempted to spread about him.
- ...{I} feel that these attacks by Mr. Hamic are a result of these disgruntled employees. LIE- The truth is a funny thing. I am one of the only people documenting facts and exposing the truth about Legit. Obviously, I don't accept their business practices and have no respect for their corrupt practices.
- Worker's Comp- This "certificate" was provided to me by a former Legit customer. They discovered it was fake and gave it to me. I forwarded it to the authorities.
- Payroll- All you have to do is look at other web sites or watch the news to find Legit's unpaid employees. How many times were they on the news anyway?
- Mr. Baca's Law Enforcement Experience-
Mr. Baca's current law enforcement experience is as a "Reserve Bosque Farms Deputy! I have spoken to a couple of BFPD officers who worked with him on at least one DWI checkpoint in Bosque Farms. Baca said that he was appointed as a "reserve officer" and issued a badge and a gun. Imagine- a man who pleads guilty for a felony makes an arrest! What a joke!- Eviction- "..to have been evicted more than twenty times would be an average of twice per year. This is simply not true..." Why don't you do the counting. Anything with the word "restitution or forceable entry" is an unpaid rent case in Metro Court... Some Breach of Contract cases can be evictions also...

- Skillstorm lawsuit- "..Frivolous... I can tell you that Legit is in the final stages of purchasing Skillstorm Security, and in fact Legit should own Skillstorm by next week." LIE- Summit purchased Skillstorm.
- Forged documents- I can't believe that this guy says this stuff! There are too many to count. Just ask Skillstorm or the Insurance Fraud Bureau of NM.
- Gil Baca's Involvement- "Mr. Baca does have several health issues, and we are currently in the process of hiring a president to formally run our company. We currently have several top industry leaders as possible candidates..." Does this guy really believe this stuff? Has anyone ever heard the saying... "If the good die young?"
