"Information is key"- that is what I always say. Just a quick update for those of you who are interested in the activities of Legit Security, Gil Baca III (G3), Joe Stidham, Manny Sierra or the others.
Legit Security has promoted a new "Regional Manager of Northern New Mexico, " Captain Mighetto. You can reach him by calling the company phone at 505-306-9795. Apparently, Legit Security and their employees are marketing any and every business in Santa Fe. Maybe somebody should tell them that they need a business license. The following businesses are provided services or have been provided formal quotes in Northern New Mexico:Santa Fe Apartments, Los/las Palomas, Sangra de Cristo, Aldea HOA, Country club gardens, Zia trailer park,Taos Hospital and more. I am sure there are more.
I spoke to Jessica Chavez, compliance officer with General Counsel Worker's Compensation Administration (505-841-6003) this afternoon. She re-stated that Legit Security had not provided the Administration with any proof that it had Worker's Compensation Insurance and was beyond the notice period. The Administration gave Legit 10 days to provide proof but they didn't respond with any proof. G3 called and stated that he had insurance. Don't you think that WC Administration would know if they had insurance? Yea, me too. The next step is a formal referral for civil prosecution, subpoena delivered by the Sheriff and a hearing in front of the WC Director's board. It will be docketed and it is a public hearing although Ms. Chavez didn't know when it would be held.
G3 assured his employees that they did have WC Insurance through Atlas Resources. I thought their insurance certificate said "TB Financial Services?"
Many employees are still behind weeks on payment. Weeks. Payroll checks are bouncing by the dozens. Some of my employees were in Dollar General Stores today. A clerk asked if the guards knew why "Legit Security was bouncing so many payroll checks?" I am obtaining all of this to give to law enforcement.
I had some requests to scan in the original lawsuit against Legit Security, Joe Stidham, Gil Baca III, Matthew Terry, et al. Don't forget there are other civil lawsuits... Here it is. Make sure to wash your hands after reading!
